Official PC Requirements on Steam

Eschatology Entertainment and 4Divinity have published minimum and recommended PC specifications on the Guns of Eschaton Steam store page (app ID 3734220). This is the first concrete hardware update since the June 30, 2026 worldwide reveal — DSOGaming, Gagadget, and VGTimes began reporting the numbers in early July 2026 as players wishlisted the title.

Both tiers require 64-bit Windows 10 or above, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12, and a mandatory SSD with 45 GB free space. The developer explicitly notes SSD required under additional notes — hard-drive-only installs do not meet the listing. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S requirements remain unannounced; console players should expect automatic compatibility on supported hardware once those pages populate.

What the Specs Mean for Players

The GTX 1070 / RX Vega 56 minimum tier sits above many indie soulslikes but below bleeding-edge ray-tracing blockbusters — reasonable for a 75-person studio targeting deliberate gunplay over photoreal excess. RTX 3070 / RX 6700 XT recommended aligns with comfortable 1440p or high-refresh 1080p expectations for AA action titles.

Sixteen gigabytes of RAM appears in both tiers; streaming or heavy background apps may still want 32 GB headroom though Steam does not require it. Forty-five gigabytes base install leaves room for day-one patches and co-op assets — budget extra space for future updates.

DLSS, FSR, ray tracing, ultrawide polish, and Steam Deck Verified status are not listed on the store page yet. Watch technical interviews after gameplay demos for upscaling support.

PS5 and Xbox Series Expectations

Console-specific requirements have not been published. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions are in development alongside Steam. Expect quality and performance modes once platform holders certify the title closer to a dated launch.

DualSense and Xbox controller features, Series S scaling, and storage footprints remain TBA. Console wishlist pages may populate before numeric requirements appear.

Network, Storage, and Other Notes

Steam lists single-player, online co-op, and online PvP — all require stable broadband for multiplayer modes. Wired Ethernet reduces packet loss during invasions or boss co-op.

Co-op and PvP imply additional patch downloads over time; the 45 GB figure is a launch baseline. Keep drivers and Windows updated before release week.
